hi i need some help with ordering a suspension for my r/t i am currently deployed to iraq and have bought a r/t dakota r/c since beeing here and am planning on putting a set of 20x8.5 rims on it with some 275/45 tires on them and i want to lower the truck just to get rid of the wheel well gap i don't want it to tuck just get rid of the gap can someone please shed some light on this for me as to how low what brand of suspension is better and so on and i could even change tire size if need be thankyou very much joe

Hotchkis TVS and run a max of 275/40 in the front. It'll probably still rub, but not near as bad as the 45 series would.

I run the Hotchkis TVS. Had 275/45's but they rubbed in the front. Now running 275/45 in the rear and 255/40's in the front.

i run hotchkis tvs and have 275/60/17 all the way around, and have never rubbed. which alot of ppl say they do, and even sharp turns i dont.:hail:

im running 255 60 r 17 yokohama advan st tires, im about to install a full tvs kit with double adjustables qa-1s allround, i think i should be fine

here's some closeup wheelgap pics of 275/35-20s. my truck is 3.9L sport. only have minor rubbing when cornering hard. can barely see the scuffing on the fender flare in the lower pic
