Cheaped out on the e-bay seats, and im actually very pleased with how they look and feel! while i was at it i bought about 6 cans of VHT Fabric and Vinyl Dye. It supposedly soaks into plastic, not the case. looks great, however a sharp object will scratch it. I didnt do the dash yet, but will be doing the dash and redoing the other stuff with SEM. Also picket up a brand new bedrug off of ebay CHEAP, the battery box is temporary untill i get a polished one. Did a PCM flip and painted the washer reservoir and my caps/handles. The suspension was done awhile ago, but never got pics so dont mind the dirt. Brackets for the seats were easy to fab up. I also painted my handles a month or two ago, and did the roof mouldings. Let me know what you guys think! also debating on doing the mirrors, and i have a set of Jim's side skirts on the way! :mullet: enjoy

I'd keep a eye on that cross over. I would hate to see your truck burn down..

the stainless braided hose has a rubber core and is made for fuel systems. it was a tight fucking squeeze getting it onto the fuel rail barbs. also has a hoseclamp on each end. im not worried about it. Brian(hskrt) had hose clamps on his fuel supply line for years if i recall correctly and never had a problem.

"The stainless braided hose has a rubber core and is made for fuel systems" Who cares when the hose clamps were made for irrigation.
"Brian had hose clamps on his fuel supply for years..." Why am I not surprised?
I think you're playing fire. Pun intended.

Looking good. More info on the seats.
Yeah, had hose clamps on my fuel lines and never had a problem, but not something I'd ever recommend. Was one of those if it aint broke don't fix it type things that I finally got around to replacing the right way with AN fittings and the proper spring lock connectors.

adobedude and hskrt- i dont think itll be catching fire sitting in the garage all winter. besides hopefully the 408 will be ready by the summer, and it will be getting billet fuel rails anyways.
Lewd- the seats are from ebay, they are just universal black with red stitch racing bucket seats. the seller is: ilovetacotaco. they are $205 for the set and $100 for shipping. i have heard of them wearing out easily, but my truck is not my daily driver, so i think they will last. If anybody picks a set of these up i can hook you up with step by step instructions with pics, including bracket measurements, it was pretty easy. at first i used square aluminum tubing, but they sat higher than stock, so i replaced those with some steel flat stock. just did that tonight and looks/feels way better.

Hose clamps don't belong on a 50 psi fuel system.

I think the painted door handles looks pretty good.
I also like the painted roof molding. After Friday, I'm off for the next 9 days and I may give it a shot. Can you give some more details?

curious as to how you used the stock rails that came with the seats- I ended up using my stock seat rails and welding in cross bars to hold them to the seats

i cut down 4 pieces of 1 inch wide by 1/4 inch thisk flat steel, each seat has 2 running across the bottom wit ha hole in each end for the bolts to go up into the threaded holes in the new seats. i then measured and made holes the same dimensions as the stock seat threaded holes. the front ones didnt line up, so i drilled new holes 1-1/2"s back from the original front hole i nthe stock rails. then bolted the stock rails to the steel brackets, and they dropped right in. my seats are out of the truck right now actually, i will take a couple pics for ya when i get home from work.
