Factory Fiberglass Tonneau:

Does any one know who made the factory order Tonneau covers for the 1999 Dodge Dakota's? The lock broke on mine and the local Dealer said it was not serviceable. I have another one that is doing more research on it for me. But thought I would ask around to see if any one has more info.
Thanks Bruzer

Mine rubs also but I like having the hard cover and locking it. It was on the truck when I got it and I prefer to use the money it would take to replace it on other things. At some point I hope to get a flush mount, but that is near the bottom of my LONG list. Hell I might take a saw to this one and make my own flush mount..............

No mine had the single center lock with the black cap. It used a barrel key like a drink machine.

If it is it's the Mopar tonneau cover... else than at a mopar dealer, I don't see where you could get that... sorry

You could more than likely swap it out for a regular keyed lock. Those can be bought at any tonneau/camper shell dealer.

or you could just go to your local Lowes and buy a replacement lock for 4.96- but it would just be a regular key instead of the round shaped vending machine type
