just bought this truck on sunday. also have a 2004 dakota ext cab with the 4.7. r/t should be a nice truck when i get finished with it. who knows when that will be. wanna get all the body parts replaced first then worry about gettin em all painted. then gonna get the buffer out and do a full detail on it. then onto motor work.

Welcome to the site, the R/T will look good when done. How much did you pick her up for? Cheers

Welcome, by now you've prolly found your way to the division one page, where all of us northeastern US people are. Looks like an interesting project... are you building a go fast truck?... or just a rebuild?... you were prolly planning on an aftermarket hood anyway... and, while it looks beat, damage doesn't look too major..as always, keep us posted with photos.

planning on a go fast truck. called keystone today, for $300 i can convert my shaker from my 4.7 to the 5.9. need all the new airbox pieces. so im plannin on putting the stock hood back on the 04 and the shaker on the r/t. gonna put the 04 close to stock and ride it for now and focus on gettin the black truck fixed.
