Mopars at the Rock review

We started out with an exciting half day of racing. The fastest was a Bk CC 408 Juiced running I think low 12s. Then about the afternoon time the T-storms started to roll in. So we sat and sat until they decided to call out the show trophys. hoodlum came in 1st followed by dakman7, coming in 3rd name is unknown. After that the track rescheduled the street class and dakota shoot out for sun. So I decided to come back as it was only me and Jason (huskerrt) going to race. As I was pulling closer to the gate that morning my truck died. Several mins later Jason just so happens to pull up behind me and stop to help. Turns out the cap and rotor I desperatly needed last night bought from autozone completely fried and fell into pieces as I pulled the cap off. So a quick trip to the only parts store open....lol....autozone to buy another cap and rotor. Thanks to Jason. :hail: Poped it in and ready to race. First time trial I ran a 13.9 @95 my fastest and first time in the 13s....:woot: As for the shoot out it was best 2 out of 3. He broke his dial in time both times and cause me to take the win. Nice looking trophys and he got a runner up one. For some reason every pic I try to upload it says its to big.

If you have a hard time reading this oh well, I shoot rounds down range and jump out of airplanes. lol

Was the Blk. CC from Va.? Jeff Wilson? if so his truck has gone faster then that

Yes I think his name was Jeff. He was upset and said they could go faster if they could get it right. Said they had a lot of issues with the 408 and from were they purchased it from.

Wish I could have been there, hopefully next year. Yeah, Jeff has been fighting with a lot of issues with his truck for a while, hopefully they can get it sorted out.

yeah that's definitely Jeff's truck. I remember his as being one of the only ones you could actually see your reflection in the under part of the hood! he was competing against Tony C. from Florida a few years back. They were both in the 11's that weekend. :hail:

I see Matt made it. His truck (black) is definitely coming along really nicely! Gotta love his center console/sub box. He got it all hooked up in the parking lot after driving all night going to the 06 Nats! hah

Everyone has some killer rides out there. Wish I could have come by this year.
