Pulled an 8.5 and 8.6 in the 1/8
60" suck...1.95 and 1.97... truck starts to push (move) at 1800.
8psi at about 1/2-3/4 track...pretty sure belt is slipping.
WAY rich....meter never came out of red.
Truck hooked...325 M&H

Now that I'm done complaining....I did turn the A/C on and set the cruise on the way home....but

1. I need a converter. Which one?? What fits?? Stock Tranny.
2. Boost. That belt is big enough to rap around my house....any Ideas???
3. Who knows a tuner close to DC/Richmond VA

Thanks

Here's what I would do:

-Get the belt as tight as you can possibly get it. If you have slack in your tensioner, it's not tight enough :) Also, look into a Reichard Racing ultra grip pulley, http://www.reichardracing.com/pulleys.php

-Get it tuned with SCT and a 2 bar map. I believe there's a tuner up in the DE/MD area that does our trucks. There's also Sean (hemifever) down in NC, he'll be tuning my truck.

Then, once you've got your belt slip issues sorted out, and the truck is tuned, grab your dyno sheet and give Precision Industries a call and order up a Viper converter. Based off of your setup and where your peak torque is, they'll pick a stall speed that will work best for you.

Running rich and no stall are killing you right now. Also, what headers/exhaust are on that truck? Might want to look at opening up the flow.

Another thing to try, launch at 1000-1200 rpms instead of trying to rev it up as high as you can.

http://www.performanceinjectionequipment.com/ is over in DE. They do SCT tuning on our trucks.

What he said, I have him building my engine right now. He has base programs for blowers and certain injectors to start with also before he puts it on the dyno to tweak it. That way it is safe and what not.

I talked to Chris on Friday about mine. He will probably be getting it in May to replace the rings if that's really what's wrong with it.

I might tow it out there. It depends on what kinda trailer I can get. I don't think it's good to drive it that far.
