Where in FL are you located? I have a place in Okeechobee, and live most of the time in Cape Coral on west coast. Dan

I'm moving to St. Petersburg next month!:woot:

We should meet up sometime. I was seriously thinking about Cape Coral too, but I can't find much work in my field down there. I really wanted to come for the Nile Monitors. I'm an avid herp fan and it would be awesome to catch one of the big ones as dangerous as they are. Big adrenaline rush.:D

You know any construction materials testing labs that need techs.?:jester:

Dude! Sweet herps! :woot: I've always loved hognoses. I've caught a Chuckwalla and 2 rattlesnakes since I've been here. As well as many other lizards and snakes. I let them all go though, it's just fun checking them out.

Sadly, I have no R/T:jester:

It's just the little 4.7L. But so far, I've done the HO cams, home made intake, 3" I/O flowmaster 40, Superchips, FMS 24lb Cobra injectors, 2005 intake manifold, traction bar things, 2/3 drop, 33mm front and hotchkis rear sway bar, and soon to have an X-brace and turbo. It isn't all that fast, but I ran a 15.304@88mph out here in Phoenix before I put on my new manifold. I can't wait to see what I can run down there in Florida. I've done an altitude correction for my time and it says I should be in the mid-high 14's when I get back to FL. But we shall see.

How much have you modded your R/T? Know of any tracks down there?

there is moroso for 1/4 mile, and imokolee(sp) for 1/8 mile. those are the best tracks around us. there is always countyline, 1/8 mile, but its not so great.

Race tracks, you have Bradenton 1/4 mile, which isn't far from St Pete. Probably hour and half drive or alittle less for you depending on traffic. Moroso 1/4 mile, is on the east coastnear West palm beach, a easy 3 1/2 hr drive, and Immokalee is a 8th mile, and is 2 1/2 hrs or so for you. As for my R/T, its Paxton novi supercharged, 2800 stall msaine tc, rebuilt transmission, transgo shift kit. Caltracs, puting on 3.5 exhaust with spintech pro shootout muffler this weekend. Mopar pcm, M1 2bbl intake, 53 mm Fastman TB, Mopar PPH headers, Hotchkis front springs, and blocks in back. Custom roll pan I made out of a stock bumper. Painted odds and ends here and there, viper electric fan, its far from perfect, needs a whole new paint job soon. Haven't raced it yet, working all the little bugs out and will take it to strip once I get a new tune for it. Dan

Oh kick ass! I was really hoping there would be a track somewhere close, and like you said, the one in Bradenton isn't too far away.:woot:

Damn, nice mods dude! You should be in the low 13's with all of that stuff, maybe faster. It'll be sweet seeing that thing run at the track.

Thanks for the info on the local tracks bro!

They just repaved and VHT'd Countyline, so it hooks pretty well now.

Just make sure you're in the left lane if you run faster than mid 7s as the right lane has a few bumps around mid track.
