I average 12-13 mpg average with my 2000 cc. I don't have many mods and thats with getting on it about once a day.

The more I did to open the engine's airflow, the better the gas mileage was. First trip I took with it, bone stock, got 12mpg on the highway doing 70mph. Driving it to DFW area when I sold it, had all the bolt ons, 17.7mpg doing 80mph.

my CC with Sausage cam, mild reworked stock heads, 52MM F&B and Spintech exhaust gets ~13 city and 17 highway(non cali gas) on a B&G M-1 flash
there are no mods that are good gor MPG really other than CAI and exhaust.

My 408 gets about 9 gallons to the mile...I mean miles to the gallon in the city, but get it out on the highway and it'll pull 16-18 @ 80 mph, all day long. I just wish I had to travel by highway more....a LOT more.

just for comparison my v6 does
21 mpg on the highway 70mph cruise
16 mpg in town
this is with superchips tuner, CAI and relatively conservative driving habits
over the last week and a half the bike did 28 mpg mostly in town

With my CAI, Superchips, exhaust, HO cams, and FMS 24lb injectors, I can get 24 mpg on the highway and about 18 mpg city. I don't drive very conservatively either. Full throttle blasts at least twice a day, usually more.
I haven't tested my new 2005 intake manifold yet for mileage. But it seems to be helping so far.:rockwoot:
