Very common practice for Sam the man at SoCal. Some have had good luck hittin him up on AIM. I dont remember his s/n and I'm at work.

Did you order hotchkis leafs?

BTW good luck getting your stuff in a timely manner. Just keep bugging the shit outta him :goodluck:

Hotchkis is notorious for having backorders on their parts...just a heads up.

Thats why im trying to find out from socal dakota what the deal is. i didnt order my leaf springs from hotchkis. All i want is a response from socal as to the status of my order.

i havent seen Sam at his day job all week, tho ive only been in his building twice. he has a day job and sellin parts is the rest along with his family and stuff.

as mentioned, Hotchkis is NOTORIOUS for beeing back ordered and unless Sam has made arrangments to have Hotchkis drop ship your stuff, he has to go up and get it and then ship it....

wires, should have them by now unless he is really backed up on running his sideline biz..

not to worry. youll get your stuff. he is a stand up guy.... if ya really need a set of wires, i have a new set of Taylors....

Yeah, from everything I've ever heard about Sam is all good, he is just a little slow getting stuff out ot people. Me, if I knew it was going to take him a long time to get me my stuff, I'd still go with him to support dakota vendors. I'll order my hotchkis from Sam when I get the money, there's no doubt about it.

Sam has always hooked me up. Delivery times sometimes are a bit long. But then again, he isn't Summit or Jegs. I'm completely happy with everything he has done for me thus far. He has my whole front end right now, doing the bushings and ball joints etc.

Thanks guys for the response. I wasnt tryin to bad mouth the guy i guess im just used to ordering things from big companies where you can track everything. It was suggested i go to them on this forum so i did trying to support the little guys. My truck has been sitting for a while now and i wanna drive it so im gonna just throw some blocks on it in the mean time. whats considered a long wait? theres a all mopar race near me in may and i dont think they will let me run with the blocks hopeing to see them by then. I would like to stop guessing and actually here from someone at socal if anyone here knows him i would appreciate the relay message. once again not tryin to badmouth socal.

Hotchkis takes forever. I ordered a full tvs kit a few weeks ago. Probably be a lil while before I see it.
