Side Skirt Picture Bounty Offer

I made this same post on DD so both sites may participate in this but as a whole.

For anyone that has purchased a set of side skirts from me, I am in need of good pics to showcase them on EBay. I'd rather not just steal them from the Web so if you want to give your blessing to use a pic or two of your ride with them painted and installed please post them up here. I will choose at least 4 of the best quality pics to use by the end of this week and paypal(gift) those selected $25 each in appreciation. Not necessary but if you wish, by all means also post your honest feedback on them.

Would be nice to see a pic from each of the models I made at least one set for:

RC
CC
QC (That would be Jay as I only did one of those so he's basically a lock)

I bought some from Kinjirra on dak-dur to help him out - they got destroyed by UPS and now UPS wont honor the claim saying the box wasnt rated for the contents inside.....FML!!!!!!!! So I am out the $$$ now....

I would have had some photos for you too :(

That sucks to hear Todd. They must've really done a number on that box for these take a lot of force to destroy. Haven't had a problem with FedEx shipping the 20 or so sets I've done so far but I think I'll start having them label them as FRAGILE just in case. I'll see what I can do to get you another set.

You may want to look into using the round shipping tubes as opposed to the cardboard. Probably a little more expensive to use but you can make up the difference in additional shipping costs. Just a suggestion.

That's what happened to the first set I bought from GMS. The FedEx Monkeys busted them all to hell! Called Scott and he sent another set out ASAP. Got lucky I guess knowing his track record! :D

Thanks! Appears the tubes are twice as much as the boxes I'm using but should negate the need for insurance which should offset it a bit. Just gotta make sure a 3" tube is big enough. Oh and first use up the 150 boxes I've already got in stock...LOL.

Not sure how you missed it as its been evolving since February. Couldn't have done it without the upfront commitment from quite a few members. I'm now taking them to EBay so the below post is kinda obsolete.

I hate UPS. Overpriced and they beat the shit out of all their packages. I always ship fed-ex or usps when i can.
I receive boxes from my work... fed-ex's always come in good shape while UPS's are always thrashed, re-taped, missing items :jerkit:

Well I have shipped thousands of packages with UPS through my business and only had a couple issues. It seems any odd shaped packages have the worst track record. These side skirts were shipped in a 72" box and it arrived as a 30" box with 2 skirts instead of 6. WHERE THE FUCK are the other 4???????????????? And now I am out 200 bux since they wont honor the claim, nice of them since I spend 2-3 grand a month with them. I guess I am just never meant to have skirts on my truck.....I am done trying :(
