For a brief summary of what has happened to my truck in the last 3 1/2 months.
Ditched complete a/c system including heater core/blower motor. Sealed up the fire wall and cowl holes up. Tore old heavy insulation off the firewall and replaced with lighter insulation. Relocated my MSD box to under the dash, installed LM2. Installed Accel 2 bar map from(thank you Bfranzel)
Installed 42 lb FMS injectors from( thank you Slammed R/T aka the Deputy)
Loaded sct in for my setup, and finally installed my extreme velocity air hat. Got to fire her up at 9:30 pm last night, so sorry for shitty video. Buddy of mine wanted to record it idling. Will get some better videos in a few days of it driving.
Oh btw I believe my charcoal canister fell off some how in this build.:jester:

Nice:rockwoot: What were your times at the drag strip before you made the switch? I assume you were using the airhat with the aux injectors before?

A slow 8.63 in the 1/8th, with a botched column shift. Like I told my buddy the other day. If It runs a 7.99 with no issues and he sees me smiling. Expect to see me make a turn to the pits to load it on the trailer. :jester:

Its never complete but its been back together about a yr and half. I still want to change out the collectors on my headers from 2.5-3in and run 3 in duals all the way back and change to some bigger injectors and few other things. But I'm thinking next year I'm going to freshen the motor up I already have 17k miles on the stroker and when I'm at full throttle I'm getting a touch of blowby. The real seal also drips a litte must of been the shifts at 7k rpm. I'm thinking when I freshen the motor up with some new bearings, and gaskets I'm going to try a set of total seal gapless rings and slide in a cam in the high to 240 or 250 range and really make it rock. Its nice not having to drive it everyday anymore I have a beater 96 dakota v6 I picked up for $600 bucks that needed a transmission.

I agree on not having to daily drive mine anymore. Makes them that much more fun to play with. I need to pull my motor and do the same thing as you. I don't have any blow by, but rear seal is starting to leak.

congrats dan. good job. i know your feelin good that you got her running again. what are you running for an intercooler? meth? mine will be gutted soon also :jester: and as soon as i straiten out this missing package bullshit then ill have a motor back in mine. so dont blow your shit up until i get mine back on the road:finger:

Yeah it feels great, just got to datalog now and tweak her some more. Drove today and it feels totally different. Though I am sure your setup will be faster by the sounds of it. Sucks on the shipping losing shit.

get her on the meth!(kinda sounds like a pimp) im not sure weather im going meth or intercooler. ill ask that question when i get closer to getting it back together. yea as far as the shipping goes, i used a box that dave(adakotartguy) used to ship me a pully to package up my dampner. put that in the package, and he got it instead of chris:jester: so thats one part back several more to go!

As of tommorow mine will no longer be a daily driver. It's been a reliable DD for 7 years and 51800 miles under my ownership, and it capped off that nearly perfect streak by blowing a power steering hose on it's last day of service.

Ok did some shenanigans yesterday on the street. Of course all of this was done under the speed limit and not too crazy. Hopefully the end of this month or next month when the next cool front rolls through. I will have some videos of it at the track doing what its suppose to do. I am starting to think I will have to pay my buddy for these videos he is doing of the truck, cause he is too damn good. Either way here she is. Again.
