so tonight while on the way home from dairyqueen, a black chevy pulled up next to me and started reving it. and im sure youll will agree most of us smoke chevy trucks from the launch bad and just keep gaining the gap, so naturally i ran him, but to my surprise he got me by about 2 cars. so i pulled up next to him and saw the joe gibbs badge on the side. i started talking to him about his truck at the next light and he said it was the 5.3 supercharged edition. i was like damn its quick. not to hate on dodge but it was quick, being a single cab. so when i got back to my computer i looked the truck up just to see the power and all. and i came across this. youll will love this.

i cant stand all those people with lightning egos...i kill lightnings all the time with my 6.0L diesel 250...i have a banks six gun and propane injection... its so funny watchin how pissed they get when they pull up next to me LOL :finger:

We have a few Lightnings here on base and around the city. All with typical atttiudes, I'm blown, your not. so I answer them like always, run me biotch..your SC to my all motor. After its over with the excuses come rolling in...if i had this, or a bigger pulley, or spent that...blah blah blah blah.

Lightnings aren't as fast as they like to think they are. They are much heavier than a CC Dakota. This battle continues on every day. People pay 38k for a novelty regular cab blown truck and think their cool. When any person can spend 22k on a crew cab Dakota RT, drop say, 5k in it and smoke his off run after run (w/o juice) and still be 10K cheaper.

Too many guys with lightnings are morons. I'll give them that lightnings are fast. A friend of my brothers had one and it was a sweet truck. Only problem is, people who own ford just typically have a piss poor attitude. Now, I've met some awesome guys that own fords and have some insane cars and trucks, but I hate reading the lightning boards cause those guys are a bunch of rude pussy's.
