Yeah I have driven it. Drives just like a Charger SRT. Fast, great sounds, firm ride, awesome brakes. The only real difference is you can't go anywhere without someone giving you a thumbs up or asking questions or following you to your house!

dude.By 2010 all autos will have to pass the new MPG laws.This is going to be the last hurrah for a while.I don't know exactly how it works,but i believe all autos/trucks under 3/4 ton have to get 25mpg at all times.So if you really want one then don't wait to long.

Close, it's 2020, and it's 35mpg for all cars and trucks. So yes, we definitely need to enjoy it now, cause things are gonna start changing. The gov't hasn't said how they'll phase in the new requirements, but I'm sure we'll start seeing mpg going up steadily over the next 12 years. Big V8s are gonna be a thing of the past. We'll start seeing turbo'd, direct injected 6cyl and 4cyl setups.

But this is just for new cars of course, it's not like all the V8s that are out there are suddenly going to be outlawed. :biggthumpup:

I wouldn't want a 2008 model - nothing really different than a Charger SRT-8, probably has the same issues with traction/lack of posi/traction control/can't change gear ratio/weak rear half-shafts/etc.

I got it for $2,000 over MSRP.They stared at $5,000 .I know one of the guys there so that helped.I'm not doing a trade in so they can't get me there.
They where getting two but they put in for a request for the third one and got approved for it because of there sales.Also I'm first on the list at that dealership so I get to pick .I'm hoping for the moonroof and orange.If not I'll take the black.

I don't think it was a bad deal,They don't know the colour until they come in.He did say that they will be black or Orange for sure.Like I said I would like the Orange but will take the Black if that is what they have.

There is a dealer here asking for $80k He must be nuts.I went by the dealership Monday and told them whatever color comes in first I'll take it.I'm not going to take any chances in case they only end up getting one.It will be black or Orange.They are going to let me take it the way it comes in .They will only check the fuilds .I will take it home to take the plastic off and wash it myself.

Score-a-rama. I wouldn't even let them take the floormats out of the plastic when I got the black truck ordered. I sat on plastic over the seats until they deteriorated, lol. Putting a dealership emblem on a new car ought to be a crime. None of our vehicles have them.
