Well, less than 200 miles ago I had a couple things done to the transmission.
1) Viper 2800stall
2) Fairbanks shift kit
3) Mopar deep trans oil pan.

First 180 miles have been fine. Drove 150 miles round trip to Los Angeles on the freeway and didn't hear anything unusual.

Last night and today I heard a strange buzzing noise every time the transmission is in 3rd gear and when the pedal is about 1/3-1/2 down. Only happens when i'm between 30-45mph (havn't been over 45mph since noise occured) Soon as i let off the throttle, it stops. Give it gas again and about 1/3 of the way down it starts again. Kinda sounds like a swarm of Locus under there :jester:
Any Idea's?

I don't want to have to take the truck back to the trans shop. Fuckers dented the shit out of my oil filter (dents and teeth marks all over), scraped paint off my trans. oil dip stick, scratched my NEW powdercoated valve covers, and my ceramic coated headers!

I dunno. Doesn't sound good. If they messed up that much stuff. I wonder how well the work is inside. Are they a reputable shop?

Justin (Kickinasphalt) told me they were a great shop too, after i made an appt.
Read good reviews about them.....
