I just got danno's set of bogarts today if you want me to measure the actual rim??
I also have my old set of poor man skinniesfor sale. 15x7's on a 205/65/15 tire. Weighs 40# each and 25.5" tall.

They are not 16" are they? I have an 03 with the bigger brakes up front.

i thought just the rears were a problem on 03's? both of mine are 15's. Are you going to try to get a 16" up front too?

I'm pretty sure 15's work up front.
Earl Ellsworth had 15" Bogarts up front and 16" American racing (baja?)'s in the rear due to his being an 03' with larger rear brakes.
Now that i look at the pics... they could be 16"s lol... i'll check, be back to edit

Haha, that's my truck fool! It's an '02 with an SSBC rear disc conversion. That pic is before it got the SSBC conversion. 15" Bogarts front and rear. I still have the fronts, but have the Baja rears to clear the brakes. I talked to Jack Williams and he told me the Baja's will not clear factory 03' brakes. He runs the same rears on his 02.

DOH'! Thats why i was having a hard time! I was searching for 2003' thinking you had the 03' brakes not the SSBC's :jester:
I feel like an idiot now! Reason i sold my SSBC kit was because the 15" bogarts won't fit with them. Just got my Bogarts yesterday too.
After all the time's I questioned 1fastassr/t i can't beleive i forgot it had the ssbc kit:jester:

I purchased the truck in December. It got delivered to me just before Christmas. Just got it inspected and on the road in February. I took it to the track twice and it put down some great times. However it has a pretty bad oil consumption issue. It uses 1qt every 2-300 miles. Dan Arcand said the rings in it are probably shot. =( I'm hoping it's something else that's easier to fix than that. I don't have the time/money/facilities to pull the motor and rebuild it right now. Gonna take a closer look at it after work today and see what's going on.

So I guess there is no need to go down there and see if they fit. The baja's only weigh 20 lbs for the 15 and 22 lbs for the 16 inch. Damn rear disk. Haha. So I am assuming that the 15's won't fit on the front either?

Doing that tonight. Pulled the plugs over the weekend, eww. Didn't get beyond that. Coolant looks normal, no fuel smell in oil. Ran its ass off to a 12.55 at 107 two weeks ago. Certainly isn't down on power. Doesn't smoke, no noises, just uses a lot of oil.

I still have 15" front bogarts if you want to try them. They have almost no offset at all. Might clear the calipers. What size front disc do the 03's use? I thought they were all the same 97-03 up front rotor wise.

Only 12.55 @ 107? Seems to me that truck should be running a bit quicker than that.

Good luck finding out whats wrong with it. Hopefully it's something simple

Considering the best it did before with Earl was 13.0, I figured it was running fine. It ran 13.0's the weekend before for me so dropping half a second and adding 3mph was good in my books. Still has adjustments to make. Hopefully it's not one to my wallet. D'oh.

So now I am at a crossroads. There is no real good full slick for a 16x8 wheel and the 15x8 does not fit. So that means I have to go with a 16x10 in order to get a good slick to run on it. Anyone else disagree? Remember this is for my big engine not for what 3 have now. I should have somewhere around 600 HP.

I just measured everything, no way 15" will ever fit. From the Caliper to the center hub is 7.25x2= 14.5 inchs, that is only a 1/2 of relief. I would have to grind the hell out of those calipers. So it looks like I am going 16x10 Real Racing Pro 6 unless someone has some bogarts they want to get rid of.
