In the left rear of the bed, back by the tailgate.

Right/rear by the tailgate on mine. It's out of the way, but handy. Plus it adds a little weight over that tire for some extra bite at the track.

I know a lot of people mount them in the cab, but that just makes me nervous. If you wire the heater to a constant + and accidentally leave it on with the valve closed...BOOM!!!

I agree with Alan, the cab is touchy, I would've put mine on the rt hand side but that spot is where the battery is.

I'm with ya' Alan, I've never seen a pic of a bottle exploding, that's enough for me, My first idea was right side of the bed by the tailgate, for weight distribution.
I don't have a bottle heater yet, or a blowdown? tube either,
Thanks guys,
While i got your attention, would you care to guess my 1/8 mile ET improvement? with say 150 shot? I can run low 9's now.

looks like someone did not have a blow down tube installed. If the pressure disk was in this would not have happened.

It all depends on your traction, If your sprayin out of the hole you better have good tires and a traction device!:burnout:

If the bottle valve is closed, the disc is isolated from the bottle pressure so it goes BOOM!
Even if you don't have a blowdown tube installed, if the bottle valve is open, the disc will burst and vent the bottle wherever it happens to be at the time. That's why they have a tube, to vent it outside the cab.

Probably low 8's with traction.

Here's another lesson with nitrous. Do not crack the valve, close the valve, and then turn on the heater without opening the valve again! The pressure never goes up for the sensor and the heater just stays on. Bad news!

I was trying to get in the 8's before syraying also, but I got a deal on this kit, so plans have changed, I maybe in the 8's anyway, since the 4bbl TB, I haven't been to the track with it yet.

Is the kit all one brand, or is it bits and pieces of different kits?
