If i buy an SCT tuner, do I use the PRP package? i have never used a handheld to tune a vehicle and want to make sure I have some sort of an idea of what I am getting into...I looked them up and found a site where u can buy a tuner by itself or you can buy one with the PRP deal....what do you guys reccommend?
Unless you feel confident writing your own tunes, get the handheld with the unlimited tunes from Hemifever for $375 and be done with it.

would an sct make a difference on a stock r/t or slightly modded r/t?

only reads codes on the PCM it's mated to. LM2 however will do others.

F'n evap codes. dodge used crappy hoses on the evap system, most can be found easily.. follow your evap system hoses, bet you'll find a crack or rotted hose under the hood. or just rip the evap system off if you don't have emissions in your area.
o2 codes can be tricky. could be a fuel balance issue (such as an evap hose leak that's making it run slightly off, but usually causes a code for lean)
or a bad catalyst...
is it a code for the HO2s? if it says Heated O2 code, it could be a bad sensor.. some of em have a heater in them to heat it up until the exhaust is at temp. IF you're nice, some shops might give you the tech print out for how to diganose a bad o2 sensor off of Mitchell or Alldata.

no, evap system is on ALL models and makes now.. it basically collects the evaporating gas in the tank to burn, instead of into atmosphere... similar to the old charcoal canisters...
