Looking around for an R/T

I'll be in the market in a couple of months to get an R/T. I've had 2 in the past and both were red, so I don't want another red one. The colors that I would like to find, in order are:
Purple - How may were made, and was it in all years or just certain ones?
Burnt Orange - was that an actual color for the RT or was it just a special paint job that I saw?
Blue - How many were made?
Charcoal - How many were made?
Yellow - I see quite a bit of those so that's no problem
Silver

Will I have a hard time finding any of these colors? I know the Purple will be, but what about the others. Thanks

Amber Fire (burnt orange) will be the hardest to find... Solar Yellow and Amethyst (purple) will be pretty hard aswell. Amber Fire was only available for 2000 and 2001 I think

I see a lot of yellows on Autotrader and cars.com along with just sitting at dealerships up here. I'm not too big on the yellow, but my girlfriend is, so that's why its a color option that I'm looking for.

Deep Amethyst (purple) was made in 1998 and 1999 only. I'm not sure on production numbers outside of the '98 RC, but they only made 53 of those. They made more CC models in every color though. Good luck in your search! There are still a lot of low mileage R/T's out there and with gas prices the way they are, you should be able to make a good deal on one.

Yeah most of the RT's that I'm looking at have anywhere from 25K to 80K on them. I'm sure that I'll be asking more questions when it gets closer for me to get ready to buy one.

It doesn't matter to me rc or cc I had 1 of each, but I guess if I'm just gonna be using it as a track truck, I'd probably go with rc. I saw that yellow one and that was a great deal. I just don't have the money right now and won't be able to do anything for about 2 months. Right now I'm just getting a feel for what I can find and how hard it's going to be to find the colors that I want.

i would say its a good deal they guy prob has at least 10 large in that motor. For some reason though i have seen tons of krc built trucks being put up for sale. My question is why, are the owners not happy with them, might be not enough bang for the money they have spent.

I was kinda thinking the same as for not enough bang for the money spent on all the parts. So If I can find ones like that when I'm ready to buy, I can get all the mods and at a decent price since a lot of people are selling them with all the mods like that. 551 whp sounds good to me, I can't see being unhappy with that. So if I can find one like that I'll be pretty happy.

There were some Solar Yellow trucks that got out for 2000. Somewhere around 70-80 of them lurking around. That's one in my sig pic.

I saw that from another post and I wish that I could grab it, but I have to wait until I move. I'll be moving to Grand Rapids here in a few months so I can't get anything until after the move. I like the color of that one, but not too sure about the after market sunroof. I've had bad luck with non factory sunroofs.
