armor for the tires(there not cleaned in this picture yet i just realized that ha) and for the rims .. my neighbor gave me a cup of this stuff i dont remember the name, but i do remember it has the word "hot" or "fire" in it, its to get off the break dust and it works AMAZING!... between cleaning the break dust off twice a week ha and waxing they shine nicely.

im going to try this new armor stuff tomorrow that armor says "Repels brake dust, road grime, and dirt by forming a protective barrier on wheel and rims." its just called "Armor Wheel Protectant"

What are you looking for in a head unit?? I have a nice DVD/GPS unit with a 4" lcd screen in it. It's a single din unit. No i-pod inteface though, but does have aux input, usb input, and sd card slot. It's run on a windows OS and you can hack into and change settings and stuff. GPS works great. Best part is, you can pick them up for under $300.

stay away from the jenson. I took mine out after having it for a few years. The head unit had a mind of its own, It wouldnt let me go forward or skip songs on cd's. it would go through settings automaticly whenever it wanted. all and all just a shit head unit.

so i just got a new head unit(went with pioneer avh-p5200) and i put it in my truck but it wont turn on..

what are suggestions for trouble shooting?... someone said to hook it directly to the truck battery to see if its the wires or the unit! that just sounds dangerous to me ha but before the last one crapped out on me everything worked fine.

Kind of a stretch, but maybe you have a blown fuse to the radio circuit. Could have blown a fuse when your previous radio assumed room temp. Or the radio circuit is grounded.

ugh, no it was just me being stupid. the way the radio connects is through a tuner box.. and i forgot to plug one of the ends in, and with most head units the antenna is used as a ground.

got it for 575, so i got a good deal.. at least i think. anyways its awesome i like it so far. this is how it looks
