ok i got a trans go shift kit and for the shift point selection it says choose a white-red-yellow- orange.... i was wondering what color u used for ur shift kit and if those even made a diffrence

It's been over a year and a half, but I think it was the orange one. With the computer control over the trans I have stock shift points still. I'm gonna start to play with the tv cable adjustments some more. I doubt there will be much change though, until I get a comp flash or sct tuner.

Orange.
Be sure and set your line pressure too. I set mine towards the lighter side of the instructions, because it shifted too early when I set it to max pressure. It shifts firm, but not exceptionally hard, which is fine with me.

If you ever intend to manually shift 1-2, do the first/reverse servo mod too.

Definitely use the most agressive one, orange. Expect to play with your TV cable after you finish the install.

I just installed a tsk tfod/518 kit and now I do not have reverse. I called there tech dept and no help so far. I am 100% sure all the check balls are ok and correct. i have a very faint reverse, barely works, but all forward gears work fine, shifts nice and solid. any help would be great. thanks
