so obviously running the 408 in the truck. stock fuel pump. had nitrous on the truck with the 360, hooking it back up on the 408, im pretty sure the stock pump wont be able to support the amount of fuel i need to run the nitrous. is there a upgraded pump i can run so i can get my fuel from the schrader valve on the fuel rail rather than spending 700 bucks on a stand alone fuel system???

Alan, Grapejuice1998, has sprayed the shit outta his 408, stock fuel system.

running off the schrader???? sounds iffy. i guess i can give it a 100 shot on the dyno keep an eye on the a/f ratio.

Don't know his set up...I'm sure he will chime in.

Yep. You'd be surprised what a stock fuel pump can handle. The time in my sig was run off of the stock fuel and ignition system. No upgrades whatsoever. That's a 150 shot too.
However if you don't want to, Walbro sells a 255l pump for an SRT 4(GCA761-2) that's the exact same pump they used to sell for the Dakota R/T(GCA760-2). They discontinued the Dakota pump for some reason. The only thing is; the SRT pump needs to have a couple wires reversed when you hook it up (or so I hear).
Here's a link to an EBay auction for one:

You left out the stock 46RE part....

Are your Eddies ported at all?

True! Stock (well, it does have a Transgo kit and a converter), unrebuilt 408 with about 100,000 miles at the time of the sig.
The Eddys were "out of the box". The guides were/are fine too!

You can run an aux fuel system for the nitrous only for a he'll of a lot less than$ 700. Use a 5gal tank in he bed with a cheap pump and reg. Run your normall gas in the trucks tank & race fuel in the aux tank. This is sumthin i was lookin to do at one point.

I asked around the forums about that pump. There have been problems with it.

I was gonna do that a while back too, because it would keep me from pulling so much from my fuel rails.

Speaking of that, can you braze a front crossover for me?

The Eddys have been worked a little bit. Mainly just some bowl work to unshroud the 2.02's and a little port matching. Nothing major though.

I'm eventually gonna build the transmission, but it's still working so well I just can't bring myself to mess with it. I'm getting 2nd gear rubber on my stock motor!

Doesn't Kenne Bell still sell a BAP for NA apps? If that would work, if your stock pump goes out, it would be easily available. Something I was considering since Duner's setup seems to work well, although this would be a much less aggressive fuel pressure increase I'm sure.

cool sounds good i was looking at guying the 2 gallon underhod fuel cell with an in tank pump its a pretty slick setup the guy custom makes them so u can relocate the battery and then he builds the cell to fit where the battery was and use the battery hold down for the cell.

We did this on a local LS1 with two kits, it helped the inital lean spike a ton and it really likes the race gas on the shot.

My 408 had a stock pump, 24's, and a 100 shot off the rail. Ran just fine.

408/150 shot, factory fuel pump and injectors. I had GiSM fuel rails so the fuel was being drawn from the back corner instead of the test port, but it was still sourced out of the rails. When I dyno'd the truck on spray with the standard NX jet settings, I was running extremely fat - 9.9'ish, no problem getting enough fuel.
