Anyone have some real world experiences with the LM2 window mounts? Like this one at the link. Or is there a cheaper route I can go and get the same results. I don't want to mount it to the dash, or have to look down. Would like it near my fuel pressure gauge/boost gauge in front of me.

mine is mounted to the cupholder with a universal window mount i got at target for like $10. i'm sure you've seen these before... just plop it onto the window instead of what i did.
i think it's too big and godawful to hang from the window- but that's just me. one of these days ill put a wideband gauge in and be done with this thing.

Put an AFR gauge on the column, then you dont have to look off the road to know if you need to lift or not.

Then that's more money to spend LOL. I hear what your saying.

I will go stop by target and take a look into this setup. This would hold me over till I have more funds to spend on a AFR gauge to attach to the LM2.

I'm only running that one gauge, dont want to overwhelm the tires.
(also I hate pillar gauges cause that blind spot is big enough as is)

What, you don't like surprising pedestrians in blind left turns?

i bought 2 kits for some reason... between the two i may have supplies to build another mount.. give me a bit and i'll look around for the pieces. if i can find em, you can have em.

I take it that blind spot is bad in RC's? Or are you short? I never really have much of a blind spot, but I also sit further back.

Here is what I came up with for the LM2 mount. Just a regular gps mount modified.

aye caramba! I got sick of the wires all over the place so ran them under the carpet and into the glove box. Just open the glove box if I want to record and that's about it.

I don't see the wires either. Only maybe the 2 inches you see in the picture. I enjoy seeing my AFR.
