Well we got the intercooler and new hand made air hat to fit the dominator TB done. We took the old GMS intercooler and flipped it over. removed the blow off and remounted it on the side. The water lines are now in the back out of site. The guy that made the air hat did a great gob if think. Now the procharger will have room to breath. I'm getting close and down to small things and wiring. Still have to figure the electronics out to get the computer happy with a chevy tranny and manual valve body. Tack sensor on the black of the motor is gone also. going to fire the stock sensor with the eletromotive computer.
here's a couple pics to enjoy.

Yes there is no clamps on the hoses and a block of wood under the intercooler. Got to make a mount to hold up the intercooler

What size is the inlet to the air hat? It looks kinda small from that angle.

Looks good! That stuff looks way nicer than my CBE stuff.
I think I'd get that wood block painted to match? LOL:biggthumpup:

I bet you could use the wood block as a heat sink. I know our oak stair case is mighty cold, when the rest of the house is warm. I say leave it:biggthumpup:

Duner. I really like the idea you did with your intercooler a lot and was thinking real heavy to build a one pices set up like you did. I think yours will flow better to the TB than mine will. I changed to a sperate hat because then I can pull the hat off to change nossels of the nitrous I might run. If the truck runs like a raped ape I will most likely not run the gas to give the motor more life. But I'm putting in 150 jets in case. I just couldn't see pulling the intercooler out if I needed to change jets.
The intercooler hose size is 3" and 3" out.
I don't think I be making the May event at cecil. I hope to be running and and maybe some track testing.
I have off 3 weeks right now and going cave diving in Fl for a week (finishing my advanced Timix and deep cave class), then up to michigan for a few days wreck diving with scooters. Then off to the Bahamas on a livaboard dive boat for a week. So I think I'll be ready for May racing at events yet. I hope to make the fall cecil event

Oh ya she's caged a long time ago.
The rear harness I don't think is legal due the belts go to the floor. They are in there for the looks and race effect, Fronts belts need to be cleaned up at the cross over bar. The head liner can be unsnapped for roll bar inspections. I was great the roof bar is where the rear A/C use to be and used that space to hide the bar like the old shelbys use to. We actually talked to NHRA about how to put a legal bar in the truck.
