Hey Guys I'm just about to start my 408 and need a flexplate from a 318. Anyone have one, or can suggest where to get one?

thanks

I just ordered mine from Danno, I forget the price (ordered a few things), but I don't think it was very expensive.

mines a 2000, yes magnum. I dunno what year exactly flexplate I'd need or if it matters. I was just told to get a flexplate from a 318.

Got mine from Danno also. I assume your 408 is internally balanced.

to be totally honest I don't really know how it's balanced, I dont know enough about this stuff.. I was just told to get a flexplate from a 318.

(btw) do you have a contact I could call at JPT? I'm gonna just ask about getting them to rebuild a trans for me if I've gotta go down there anyways.

JPT 517-663-0578

Rick Adams has a contact for getting a trans rebuild (cheaper).

If you want--you can use/buy my 46re core (2000 sensors) and buy my valve body. Just come over and pick up your finished trans. Give Rick a call, I'll PM his number.

Yes it is internally balanced and hence requires the 318 flexplate.
