I have the LPW diff cover and know fluid capacity to be 2.75 qts. Question is how much Limited slip additive do you add? The MOPAR brand comes in 4oz bottles....I'm thinking 2 bottles plus fluid will be good...whatcha think???

Thanks,
scott

Mobil1 gear oil and ford modifier is what I use.

As I mentioned on the other forum, Mopar recommends 6oz of the friction modifier in a "normal" fill. So one 4oz bottle, definitely isn't going to be enough.

this is off my dealer access.

Lubricant SAE 80W-90
Lube Capacity 2.32 L (4.9 pts.)
Trac-lok Additive 148 ml (5 oz.)

148ml+2320ml = 2468ml (total fluid in the diff)
148/2468 = .059967 = 6% additive (percent of fluid that is additive)

If your new cover adds capacity, just multiply the new total lube amount by .06 for the new amount of additive.

(Now you can tell your high school Algebra teacher you finally used that shit!)
