I would like to go talk to a shop about nitrous fills. The question is will everyone want one close to the track or close to the hotel. I believe the track will do nitrous fills if we ask but it has to be set up prior. There are two or three shops near the hotel that will do nitrous fills, one is a NAPA and the other is a ricer shop. I would like to know which location people perfer (track or hotel) and then how many people would need fills.
thanks

Doesn't matter where as long as it's cheaper than the $5/lb we pay out here.

last year I payed anywheres from 3.50-4.50 depending on what shop I went to. I have not bought any this year as the truck is still in storage.

I talked to the ricer shop today. They said $50 and some change for the nitrous fill. That includes taxes and all. They also said that if we came in a group they would shave a few bucks off that. Apparently they do not mark up Nitrous much..according to the shop. These guys are the closest to the hotel.

damn i just spent 52 and some change to fill my 15lb up what are they charging $4.50 a pound. Also if i go in with a half empty bottle he only charges me for the amount he puts in.

yes but they do not like filling half bottles. from what I understand it is dangerous to do.

nitrous is $2.30/lb from a welding supply store. Why dont you guys buy a couple 70lb tanks?

Went to the second place today, its a Napa store. They said it would be 3.75 a lb and they will do partial fills or top offs. They are a little farther away but I think we should use them.
