i'm guessing your talking about the 14" round filters...

or Mopar's 13 1/4" round http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=DCC%2D5249807&N=700+4294925239+400172+115&autoview=sku

I had the 14" K&N. Ran the hose to the bottom of the base plate. If you can get away with it...you can also get a breather for your valve cover.

No modification required to get either of those air cleaners to fit..... but you need to make an S bolt to hold the air cleaner to the TB and you need to get a valve cover breather to replace that hose, they are cheap you can probably get a universal clamp on style one from any auto parts store for under 20 bucks. Unless they changed it for 01 that hose is on a 90* elbow, on mine I just pulled the hose off and gently cut the elbow off so I had a straigh nub left, ( tried to pull it out to cut it but I couldn't get it, and I was worried about breaking it).... then just clamped on the breather
