You can probably get by with a 295, but good luck finding a tire that wide in a decent height to look right on the R/T.

ill be honest with you this may sound unbelievable but i had them in 4 days and paid for the cheapest shipping. last i checked they bumped the price up to 102 each, mine were 99 but still what a steal, and they have excellent traction wet or dry, and they stick great at the track.

295 = 11.6"
275 = 10.8"

not a big difference..... and as they said 275 look good and is easy to find...
but if you want you can go with bigger on the rear and smaller up front... that's what I'll do... 325/45R17 in the rear and 275/50R17 up front

will the 325s work with the stock rim though?

the 325/45-17's fit perfectly on a 17x9 wheel.

Yes.

Like Rob said..it fits perfect. M&H sizes their tires a little off, their 325 is actually pretty close to being equal to a 275.

Whats the widest street tire? Not a drag radial that you can drive every day. I put a lot of miles on a week and I am looking for the widest street tire for the back. I am running a 275/55/17 on front.

Like Jason said..you could probably fit a 295, but itll probably be difficult finding a 295 tire with an appropriate height to look good on a 17'' wheel.

295 what? 55,50,45? 17. I have been looking but can't find anything

i would say the 275/50/17 are the best option for a wider tire on these trucks. Yes there is probably better selection in different sizes but i have found that the nitto 450's are a pretty grippy tire compared to the falkens ftz01. I had around 30k mi on the falkens which i pretty good for me.

It's important to note this. 325's from another manufacturer will probably NOT fit on the stock R/T wheel.

Agreed.

Like I said...an M&H 325 is actually more equal to any other tire manfucaturers 275.

So for anybody reading this thinking a 325 from...lets say...BFG will fit on a stock RT wheel. Its pretty safe to say, it WONT.

Does anyone know of a daily use street tire that is about 28 inches tall? One that will fit one a R/T rim I want to widen a R/T rim to either 10 or 11 inches wide and run a 275/55/17 up front and about the same height out back but have some meat! I am looking for a full street tire not a drag radial.

I just think that would be sweet if I could find something like that, a true sleeper with factory rims. Does anyone have any pics of something like that?

Really you should just get the 275/50/17 size tires....the difference betweent 50 and 55 is minimal.

I'm kinda dumb and never heard of this, but how do you widen a rim?

the nitto 450's are a pretty grippy tire

If you think that, you are missing out. I hated mine. The BFG KDWS's grip like slicks compared to those Shitto NT450's.
