He was at the Oreiley's World of Wheels car show in Omaha this weekend. Stood in line for 2 1/2 hours to meet him. He was signing autographs and drawing pictures for people the whole time. I'm surprised his hand didn't cramp up on him. He's a great guy, and even after 2 1/2 hours of doing this he was still very polite. He drew a picture of a Dakota and signed one of my Dodge racing jackets. It turned out great. Except for the whole regular cab thing, he did a pretty good job of making it look like my truck with the two circles in the headlights and what looks like a spoiler on the back. And all I told him was I had a Dakota R/T.

He also signed one of my Navy Recruiter cards that i will take to work to show off. Now I can dig out my autographed Boyd Coddington hat and put them together and just hope Chip lives a little longer.

That is so awesome. :woot:That guy is the nicest of any car builder I've seen so far. I'm so jealous of you for getting that drawing done. Daron with the red RT is the luckiest so far with the pics and autograph.

Yeah, we forgot our digi cam at home so no pictures from the show. The only way I'd want a Chip Foose signature on my vehicle is if he designed and built it.

Yea, he is a great guy. We have met him several times and Darren, Clint and I had the pleasure of having him judge our trucks. Darren and myself had him sign out dashes. Darren still has his dash, I have no clue anymore where mine is:finger: Heard its in Louisanna somwhere. Still waiting to see him with his honorary MAD R/T T'shirt on somewhere, LOL! He sat in the hot Sun here in Atlanta for hours signing and drawing pics. He was beet red and just kept on like a good trooper. Some of the guys at the show were shutting down the line for autographs, and Chip stepped in and told them it was ok since the folks have been there for hours waiting. I never heard him bitch once.

Yeah, he's genuinely a very nice guy and incredibly talented. I met him last summer here at Year One where I was in a corral of 100 vehicles that he judged...

that's really awesome :rockwoot: good to know there's good people out there who stay real and don't walk around like 'don't you know who i am?!'

I did not get to meet him, but I did walk past him 2 or 3 times at Speed-o-rama in Toronto last month... it was early, the show had only been open about a half hour, and it looked like he was being kept busy by show workers with prep type stuff... but, as you guys said, even then he looked pretty calm cool and just going about business
