I just wanted to know who is in the Schaumburg area or surrounding vicinity so we could share information and see what mechanic shops,accessories places, and get together for meets.

there's a couple guys down there. im about 90 mins away in wisconsin. i plan on going to GLD a couple times month this season.

im out in plano which is about 45 min away. i work out in naperville. this summer im planning on doing the wheaton car show every friday, be pretty cool to get a few r/ts to show.

I'm in the McHenry / Crystal Lake area. About 40 minutes north of Schaumburg.

I myself am 42.I've noticed a trend lately that R/T owners on average are getting to be a little older.It seems that the truck is not in style so much anymore with the young guys (18-21) like it was 5 years ago.And the 20yr olds who still own them are 25-30yr olds now.If we as a local group go to the nats,I could be talked into going. thanks,pete.

There should be a few coming through the Chicago area on their way to Detroit. You don't want to miss this one. Woodward Dream Cruise is worth the trip alone, now throw in 50-60 Daks!!!

Yes you do need to get to at least one. Next year's won't be so close.

And, you can be a member without going to meets! It supports all your friends on here that can go. :biggthumpup:

I'm 57 going on 40 again. I see all these R/T's running around all the time but none of them know about this site. So I'm going to tell them ,when I see them. It's a good way for people to get together with other R/T owners and share information. Maybe someday we'll all get together,would'nt that be nice !

i remember thinking that same thing back when i bought mine... "jeeze you farts are old".. i got mine when i was 19, still got it- im 27 now.

one thing i always noticed at any r/t function i've ever been to--- is thinking "holy shit you fuckers are old". kinda hard to tell age online- as most old pharts post more porn than the 20 year olds runnin around. lol

i fit right into your description. bought mine when i was 19. i'll be 28 this year. almost halfway to collector plates, lmao........

But yeah man, you're close. I used to work in Schaumburg. It's 30 minutes away. 20 at like 2am and you hit the lights.:drive:

I'm 19 btw. I'll be turning 20 in 3 weeks.

So when is that Innovations cover getting painted? I saw you drive by the Burger King on 14 last Friday around 12:30. I was having lunch with a few co-workers.

I have no plans of painting it anytime soon. I love it silver. Color matching it would look boring. I had the new rollpan painted last week and had the option to paint the cover, but chose not too. I might one day though. t'll be two tone though. All red is too plain.

I'm up in Kenosha, WI if anyone up there ways wants to get together. I'm looking to shed a few excess parts on my newly acquired R/T (tinted tails, 3rd brakelight cover, tailgate lip) if anyone wants to get some swapping done.

And I'll be 29 in April, but I'm not looking for a boyfriend, my wife does just fine.
