Future money pit? More like current money pit! I'm so glad forums like this exist. I'm really into old school mopar. So this is new ground for me. I've been looking for a nice R/T project truck for a couple years now to replace my 1996 Dodge Ram 1500. I finally got my hands on this baby so my Ram can be retired with 275,000+ miles on it. I'm learning fast that r/t owners are a breed of there own. Dedicated obsessed owners is more like it. LoL! No offense. I'm already obsessed and I just got mine 3 months ago. It's good to be part of a group of loyalist like you guys. And thanks again for the welcome.

Yeah it's flame red for now. Think about a 2tome paint scheme with black on top and the flam red on the bottom. The truck needs work I mean it's got over 130,000 miles on it. But I do auto body so it seems like a good place to start. However the flame red just reaches out and grabs you and say, " HEY LOOK AT ME, I'M A DAKOTA R/T" lol! It's the dirt vehicle I ever owned that wasn't black. I'm not an engine guy so I'm lost on that front. Hoping for alot of advise and what to do's and what not to do's. Don't want to build a monster just something loud and fast enough to turn heads and get attention. Ok so maybe I do want to build a monster. Only time and money will tell, but I'm sure all you guys know that already. Hahaha
