my previous fastest time was a 14.3 with a sliping tranny

so what do you guys think

I voted "other", because I wouldn't be surprised if it went quicker than 12.4. If the track is prepped well enough and your DR's stick, all that's left is a nice warm bottle. Try to get as much pressure built up as you can. If you have a pressure gauge, try and get it up over 1,000 psi and hit that bitch right out of the hole. Don't puss out and hit it at 1/2 track, lol.

Well, I didn't vote, I have no idea. When are you taking it out, and where are you racing at? I'm sure if you post up about going racing in the div 1 section, you could find a few local guys to meet up with you. Still too early for me--truck may be coming out on Sunday.

The quicker you get out of the hole, the lower your e.t will be, so if you're gonna puss out (lol), I'll amend my vote to 12.50 or slower.

I think it could go low 12's. Chas ran 12.7 with a 100 shot on stock heads/cam with similar boltons.

Typically, it's 2000 rpms.

Nitrous was my first mod ever. Everything else was stock except for the K&N drop in filter. I never sprayed unless it was out of the hole. :biggthumpup:

Mount it about 6" from the tb. You'll have to drill a hole into the K&N FIPK. Just measure out 6" from the center of the tb bolt, and drill a hole in the side of the tube, preferably the backside to kinda hide it. Not hide it so no one can see, just from clutter, if you frown on that type of thing! :jester:

Don't take this wrong, but please read the instructions that come with the kit.

As for hitting it out of the hole, just stall it enough to let the PCM know that the TPS has moved, then the PCM will pull back some timing on it's own and off you go. You're gonna LOVE it!

As Alan said, you have to know what you're dealing with. The atomization is different with a shark nozzle over a plate or direct inject setup. To get proper atomization of the nitrous and fuel, with the shark nozzle, it has to be at least 2" from the tb, and within 6" of the tb.

Oh, and you can mount it on the bottom of the tube.

Imma say 12.45 @109mph. Remember I ran 12.90 @ 108 with less mods on a 75 shot. I weighed a lil bit less but still.

well i went up to mopar madness and t/t it but i didnt put the 100 shot pills in i only did 75 cause it was my first time... but i did hit it right outta the hole and i cut a 13.0 at 105 the only thing is it was really really REALLY hot that day so i know with a 100 shot and some colder weather i think alan is right i might be faster then a 12.4 but we will have to see....omg spray is so addictive i wanna do it all the time now and when im not on the bottle my truck feels slow lol any way come sep or oct im gonna run it again and then thats when i will post up the results :woot::woot::woot::woot:

oh and i did cut a 13.77 @100 n/a after it cooled down alil bit later in the day
