I'm planning a trip up to Boston September 17-19 to catch a game at Fenway, outdoor gokarts, and probably a lot of beer and food. Anyone interested? Right now Robby, Chris Redmond, and Greg Ascrizzi (had the Ram at Nats) are in so far.

http://www.f1outdoors.com is the go kart place. They are no joke. We went last year and had an absolute blast. Bring your helmet if you have one.

I plan on flying up on Friday around lunch time and then leaving Sunday evening to make it a full weekend. Right now the plan is to catch lunch upon arrival, hit the Sox game, Saturday AM go karts, brewery tour?, night out, Sunday AM dim sum in Chinatown, and then whatever for the rest of the day. It's usually a cheap trip for me. No rental cars and we usually hop a train to anywhere we need to go. Go karts is a ride out of town, but we've got that covered.

I would say you'll be late to the game at the very least. It's a 7:10 start. You can always meet us afterwards. Cheap seats are $28. I dunno how Redmond and those guys want to roll. I just want to catch a game. I don't care where I sit.

I am definitely interested. The one hiccup right now is that I work Saturday nights, and anyone with half a brain isn't going to want to pickup a Saturday night shift.

I could possibly leave 'Cuse Friday AM, see my Sox play (even though they're hurtin' right now :rockwoot:), do the karts Saturday morning then hit the road back home after lunch and be home in time to work Saturday night.

It would be a quick trip, but it's exactly what I did when the World of Wheels show was in Beantown back in March.

I'll be here, obviously.

I'll start looking into how far in advance we need to book the grand prix track.

Figure with karts at 12, we can head back to boston for either harpoon or sam adams (or if we're feeling ambitious, both.) Then take your pick for Saturday Dinner (unless you had your heart set on Redbones again):

Just listing the ones I found that are within striking distance of downtown Boston.

I'll have to check those out and see what's good. I think I'm hitting Red Bones for lunch on Friday most likely. Prob won't need food until Saturday after that.

We are staying at: http://www.radisson.com/hotels/maboston It's $164/night if you pay in advance. Middle of everything I want to do. One spot available on the floor unless you want to cuddle with Robby.

Flying in Friday morning at 9am and leaving Sunday night at 7pm. Should be plenty of time to get in trouble. Fine dining plans to be determined at a later date.

So who all is set for sure on coming? Maybe it's just me, but I think we should be ordering baseball tix sooner than later.
