As we discussed at the GTG last month, I contacted them and asked a few things. I told them it is the 10 birthday of the Dak R/T and a little about the Dak R/T club. I asked about getting an R/T on the shrit and plaque, and also about getting us some space to park together. :D

we should have an area set for us...I said the there will be at least 6 of us there. Hopefully we can pull more people in.

Here is the reply from them. Also you will save some $$ if you preregister and if you are one of those that has to get the shirt (like me) they have a prereg deal that makes the shirt even lower.

Thanks for the extreme interest in our WAM Show. As of this time the shirt front and plaque design is already at the printers. However I’ll see where they are at on the back side of the shirt for design. We kind of finish these designs before the first of the year. Back is later as we put the advertisers and sponsors on it.

No problem with setting up an area for all your members and trucks to park. Let us know how many plan to attend and we will have the area available early on. Later in the day this does get to be a problem but we’ll work together. We can provide you with area motels to consider for those traveling. This information will be on the WAM www.wichitamopar.com website soon.

I’ve copied the other WAM people working the car show to let them know of your interest in attending.

PS. Hey WAM show people – what about putting Mopar Clubs who attend the show as a group on the back of the shirt – similar to sponsors. Would probably need to set a standard of having five or more club vehicles to qualify. It’s a thought. If not this year, maybe next. Ron

Hey, I got another guy from Hutch and says that he wants to be in the show and he will also bring one of his buddies that will more than likely want to be in the show, but he does not have an R/T. He has a 58 Dodge that he has been working on, looks pretty cool.

Well I'm never on the boards anymore, normally just a quick cruise to make sure there's nothing I can help with -- which mostly there never is -- and that's about it. But with all of Hoop's bitching and complaining lately and the fact that he uses this board for all the local stuff, I figured what the hell. So here I am...

As for the wheels, I got 'em. They're in the garage. The silver ones have really grown on me (and to be quite honest I hate the 29" diameter on the chrome ones -- and I sure as shit don't feel like buying new tires since the old ones have like 70% tread left on them). But anyways, the silvers grew on me over the winter and I think I'm just gonna keep the silvers on there for a little while. And just so the aussie is aware, no, they're not for sale. I will forever cherish my chrome R/T wheels. And one day, just maybe one day, I will get new 28" tires and sport them again...

I have not talked to Matt in like 3 weeks. He was suppose to meet me and a group of Mustangs at the track a little while back, but he stood me up. Not quite sure what he's up to...I doubt he's got his truck fixed. My guess is he'll just be spectating

I got 3 chairs -- as for shade, I'm a pretty small guy. I don't think you can get much shade out of me. I'll definitely have the coolers though. Are we going with some Gatorade for liquid, or are we doing beers?

Well I will be CAKED in suntan lotion if it's an all day thing (I was banking on it being a little closer to the evening). But that's cool, I will attempt to find a tree with some shade so my doctor doesn't get pissed at me. (I'm a pretty good skin cancer candidate at this point -- they like to yell at me when I get burns)

As for my house, it's at 13th and Tyler. You'll see a Taco Tico there (that's the landmark) and Suncrest St is right behind it. It's really easy to find, I promise. I recommend using the Zoo Blvd exit so you don't have to deal with the Central Exit construction (that, and it's easier to give directions I think).

yup, we're gonna have a pool tourney and everything -- it's gonna be great...not really. But check this, a buddy came over and got stupid crazy drunk, tripped and tried to catch himself on my pool table...lets just say his wedding ring and watch got my siderail really good. It kills me a little bit inside each time I catch it in the light...

I'm sure Boy George's skill is far superior to mine at this point -- hell I'm still looking for an opportunity to wash and wax mine for the show. Hopefully it happens within the next week or I'm gonna be taking a dirty truck. All this damn rain, hail, and tornadoes (I use that word loosely) aren't helping my cause lately...
