The guy that did my c-notches on my truck has 2 D-100s he is working on, one is just sitting out back, a 1969 Dodge D-100, he is driving a 195x D-100 Longbed (don't like that long bed)

Anyways ever since i saw a nice ass D-100 at the CTD meet in Dallas, TX i fell in love.

Here is the truck

1969 D-100
BEFORE:

3266
3267

And what i would want it to look like afterward:

3268

Looks like it could be a fun project. What would you do for a motor? Elephant hemi, stroked 440, max wedge?

I'd like a 38 dodge, found one a egay, but was far to gone. Like to do a moderate rat/hot rod.

Good luck if you decide to build one.

Not sure what motor would go in it, i would mainly be more worried about getting the rust and body work up to par before starting the motor/interior.

As i told Alan not sure on motor. I would just strip it down and work with what i had body wise, clean up everything from the frame up with rust resistant shit as it would be sitting for awhile as i got time and money to work on it.

Just thinking about the future after i finish the dak. It wont feel right not having a money pit sitting somewhere in my yard.

If you're gonna strip it down to the frame, take the frame to the powder coating place I told you about in the Delphi thread. They sand blasted and powder coated my Model A frame for $175. Rust free forever!
