well, i go the GC fan in with my custom brackets. i think it turned out awesome. these are just prototype brackets. i will look into haveing a few sets made if there is enough interest. i have no idea on what the cost will be.

i also installed the thicker replacement radiator.

i just got back for a test drive. it's 90* out (Hot & Humid). tried to find some traffic. it held steady at 180-190*. i even let it idle for a while and the fan cooled it off enough for it to shut off. it was pullin some heat!

Who makes it, how many Amps does it draw...?

Nice brackets BTW.

GC = Grand Cherokee. Made by Mopar. A 25 amp draw posted on the dd.com site. I eyeballed one and it looks like a nice piece. I'm considering installing one.

What does the infamous Viper Fan draw...?

I'm more worried about Amp draw than cooling....LOL

My priorities are so fucked up.

I can get them lazer cut, in steel or aluminum, pretty cheap. Guy across the street from me has a CNC plasma table in his garage. It works just like a WaterJet machine, only it uses a plasma cutter.

Hey man, NICE brackets. I like that small shroud, pretty cool. Where did you get your radiator from? Mine came factory with the 2 row and when I kept having overheating probs, yes the GC fan was installed, I decided to get a new radiator. I went to LMC and got mine. It says its a 2 row radiator. 200.00 it cost me. Went to install it and flushed my engine out, when I took the draincock out I could see that the radiator is actually a 1 row BUT is pretty wide. Pissed me off. I could have bought a one row radiator for 100.00. Called LMC and they are checking their stock and seeing if they all are 1 row. My question is where did you get your radiator from? Since you say its bigger than stock, does that mean you had a 1 row from factory on yours? Thanks

to my understanding they are all one row. i had a 1" core and went with a 1.5" core.

LOL I had Rob turn them on one night when we were hanging out in the parking lot. They lit just about that entire field right up. I had been waiting to buy HIDs because I had no idea how they would work in the diamond clear housings, but Rob's look awesome. After seeing them I will be purchasing some soon...

Has anybody made any brackets for the older trucks like yours?

Rob is the only person that has made any mounts with the intentions of making more. My 99 already has a Viper fan in it. This fan would be for my 03.

Well damn. I didnt wanna have to do it and was hoping somebody else has done it. This guy that works for me just bought a 98 dak r/t and was wanting to put the Jeep fan on it.
I will just tell him nobody, YET, that I know of has made the brackets for his model truck. Im sure somebody will one day.
