Things I did.
1) Removed A/C setup.
2) Cut accessory bracket.
3) Added new by pass valve, thanks to (David.S AdakotaRTguy)
4) Added new water pump with plug, thanks to (Dave bad425rt)
5) Removed heater core lines.
6) Hid some of the injector wiring harness on passenger side.
Still need to do more wiring hiding etc, all in due time.
7) Painted up brackets and parts.
8) Converted to distilled water/water wetter.
Basically alot of little nickle and dime shit.
Now on to ripping the dash out next week.

Your fancy camera angles don't hide how lopsided your motor is, as hard as you may try. :jester:

Good work, looks tits.

If you're pulling the dash to get rid of the Heater/AC blower box, don't forget to plug the holes in the firewall...I pop rivited custom patches in place.

Yep! Gonna get some of that thin dynamat? I believe that's what its called, and replace the stock insulation on their. Looking at oem plastic/rubber body plugs. Might do that for now till I do a full restoration on the truck. Then its called welder and paint!

Nice, I dig the plug on the pump. I was wondering how difficult it was to tap and thread that hole to put a fitting in there.

It's not hard, the waterpump is aluminum so you can tap it pretty easily. Originally I was going to run braided hoses with AN fittings for the heater hoses, that's why I had the AN fitting put in the water pump. But then I went with the electric pump, cause like everything else with this project I felt the need to make it as complicated as possible. :jester:

Yea I figured. The pump is relatively soft material. Plus I figured it would be easier than just wedging a pipe in there and not leaking like factory.

I was thinking when I have the dash out to figure a way to route the main harness in the cab. Then have it exit out of the firewall.. Probably be a shit ton of work though.

most of that cable comes from under the truck.. you'd need to pop it through the floor or bottom of the firewall, then across, then out. it ends up to be about a 2 inch hole unless you want to take alllll the pins out of the PCM connectors... then put them back.

if i were do to it... i'd pop it through the floor, snake it up to the wiper cowl and do my splices there. thru the bottom of the firewall id put grommets and feed all the engine wires through that... injectors, sensors, etc.. the cable wont be long enough to reach the PCM, so you'd have to lengthen all the wires, and at that point- you may as well put the PCM somewhere else, unless you really like where it is.

there's tons of room under the cowl... just make sure to use heat shrink, split tubing & seal all the holes.. i used RTV from a caulk gun. you can see it below

I coverd that hole, and the one by the drivers side, pop riveted a piece of sheetmetal over 'em, when you take out the heater box, it's a couple big holes straight to the cab... Engine bay fire is going to be in your lap at speed, especially with a fiberglass hood.

Now my cab is 99% sealed from the engine bay.
