Very sexy.
Currently deciding how much of a future I want with my truck but if I keep it,the fuel system is something that's getting a serious upgrade.
I very well may consider if I'm gonna keep it.

It depends upon what you are trying to do. If you’re just hooking up to the stock fuel line without a return system then you might use:

A fuel line fitting:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PFS-52180/

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/RUS-640930/

A couple of o-ring plugs for the end:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/RUS-660270/

A couple of straight o-ring fittings:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FRA-495100/

A couple of 90-degree fittings:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-220687/

Some braided fuel line:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-230603/

And a fitting or two to install the fuel line fitting. You would have to be certain you have all the parts necessary to hook up your specific setup. What I have shown above may or may not suit your needs.

Hmmmn. What would be the benefit of having a return line. Is that basically to run an aftermarket Pressure regulator? Over all what would be the benefits of this? Thank you.

The return-less system utilizes a pressure regulator at the pump and maintains a constant pressure. It is good for emissions but can inhibit flow volume when you start getting into more horse power. It may also have difficulty maintaining fuel pressure at higher rpms and fuel demands. A return system can increase flow by allowing it to go through the fuel rails, the pressure regulator, and back to the tank. The return system also helps keep the fuel cooler preventing fuel vapor from forming in your fuel rails.

Very cool. Thanks for the information. Very interested. I have a little 75-125shot nitrous kit that I use the fuel rail for fuel and makes me a bit uneasy. Plus its just a matter of time before I go big or boost.

Can you get these rails annodized?

I don’t offer them anodized since people’s taste in color varies and to be really cost effective I would have to do a number of one color at a time. If you have a color in mind send me a PM or email at Richard@hi-potek.com and I can look into it for you.

It’s a matter of which fittings you use so you can tie-in at one end. Check out the fittings that are available on Summit to see how you might tie-in.

I can also machine a 6AN port on the bottom of the fuel rail like I do for people that want to plug in where the stock fuel line does on the driver’s side. I currently charge $10 for an extra port.

what would a set ready to bolt on and go with the factory plug in and the schrader valve go for? pretty much a factory setup just with a little more bling!

what would a set ready to bolt on and go with the factory plug in and the schrader valve go for? pretty much a factory setup just with a little more bling! I just supply the fuel rails and mounting tabs, basically for a variety of custom set ups. I also can machine a 6AN port for those who want to utilize the stock fuel line and position. It does require a few fittings in order to plug in the stock fuel line. Not sure where to get a bolt-on schrader valve assembly. If someone orders the 6AN port on the bottom for the stock fuel line hook-up, I will supply a list of fittings necessary for the stock set-up.

Just shipped these fuel rails anodized black as another option upon special request. They also have the additional 6AN port in the bottom of the driver's side fuel rail as an option in order to hook up at the stock fuel line at the side.

If you send me a drawing of these rails, can I mark it up for a custom version for my blower kits? You've proven a plenty reliable supplier on here so I would be more than happy to have you subcontract this.

Do they come with cross over hoses too?
Do you have a picture of one fully assembled and functioning on a motor?

Not really. I may end up running a return system soon, depending on how much the new motor eats. I like the fact that these rails are anodized black and would blend in with the rest of my motor though.

Thanks!

I don’t supply any fittings or hose since many people do custom set ups and I’m not equipped at this point in time to carry such a variety of fittings. I do provide a list of fittings along with the rails that may be used for a stock set-up, so installation and connection to the stock fuel line is fairly simple. With the list as an example, a person may find a variety of fittings more to their taste in color and style.

Sorry, no pictures at the moment of the 6AN rails other than the pics in the first post of this thread.

The following pics are of the 8AN fuel rails on my engine. Since I used a tunnel ram intake, I had to make custom mounts that attach differently than conventional mounting. The cross-over hose is sloped down in the rear. The hose can also slope up if desired, depending up your set-up.

How quick can you get a set out?I have a couple sets left and I will be ordering more extruded aluminum on Monday. If you want an extra 6AN port machined for the stock fuel line I can get that done within a day and 2-3 days at the plating company for anodizing. Then I could ship.

Yes the website accepts paypal but I don't have the options you are requesting on it yet. If you send me your email address I can send you an invoice payable online and with paypal or a credit card. Either PM or email at richard@hi-potek.com

Hey Thanks!

The following colors are what the plating company offers. The plater did warn me that there can be some variance on color from batch-to-batch but the colors shown are a representative sample:

There are many scenarios of plumbing fuel rails depending upon what you are trying to accomplish. These rails are machined with 6AN o-ring ports, so you can basically design your system around that size. For people wanting to hook up to the stock fuel line, the following list of parts is a guide:

Fuel Supply Fittings for stock fuel line hook-up (with optional 6AN port):
Fuel line fitting

One straight o-ring fitting:

Other fittings to complete the hook up may be:
