what kind of performance do you get from this design? have you had any problems with it sticking?

what kind of performance do you get from this design? have you had any problems with it sticking? There is better throttle response off the line along with improved mid to higher end performance. I quite frankly couldn’t tell any difference in performance from one of my HiPoTek 52mm throttle bodies and the Hughes 52mm throttle body I had been running. I have had very good feed back from people that have installed them on their engines.

There have not been any problems with these throttle bodies sticking. I use proper clearances for the throttle plates, machine them with the correct elliptical shape and screw offset, and the bores are true and identical since they are machined. The throttle plates do not rub against the bore. If the sealed throttle shaft bearings are the least bit questionable and don’t turn freely, I replace them with new bearings.

Please note that this throttle body is for 1992-1994 V8. If you are looking for a 1997-2003 linkage I can machine one for you. Just shoot me a PM or email at richard@hi-potek.com

Thanks, Richard
