I have never used google maps...is this pic for real?? are they really that detailed? Thought the gov. kept those satellites to themselves

Um no, the satellite pictures that google uses can only get over head views.

google street view is a van w/ 4 camera's on it that drives around and takes continuous pictures and stitches it together.
if you havent used it yet, your missing out.

go to google then maps. click street view, click a city and then zoom in and enjoy. we have a competition on 2 other forums finding custom trucks and cars n stuff.
