What belt are you using without the compressor there?

i used a belt from a 2000 ram w/o ac

I ran into this earlier this year. I run a Napa Belt# 25 070896, boils down to a 90 inch belt. Another part number for Gates belts is GATES Part # K070896.
AC-Delco part number ACDELCO Part # 7K896. Good luck and enjoy, this only works with the stock A/C compressor bracket still in place. :biggthumpup:

that will only work with the non a/c bracket. if you still running the a/c alt bracket the length's are different. refer to blues post

As i look at it,it seems as it would be a bigger pita to take it off,so for the time being,I guess ill just leave it on.

i think it took me all of 15 minutes to take the a/c out. it's easy.

The only problem I am having getting it out is the on and off rain storms today.
Just don't feel like fuckin with that bracket right now.

Like Pete said takes about 15 mins to pull the compressor and lines under the hood.

From start to finish it took me about an hour due to rain.
I just did not understand the relevance of his post since all I asked about was a belt size.
