ok, so i've never taken a computer aprt with the intention of fixing it. matter of fact, i've only taken one apart. and that was with a hammer and screw driver, LMAO!!! it was only to get at the hard drive and destroy it.
so anyway.....the charge port on my laptop has been givin me a fuss for quite some time. screen flickers all the damn time bouncing from charge to battery power. fuckin drivin me nutts!!! untill tonight when it just quit charging all together. so i HAD to tear it apart CAREFULLY, LOL!!! i had it torn down to the bare main circut board. found about an inch of packed dust where the fan is suppose to blow on the heat sink, LOL!!! OOOPPS!!! and a couple of the leeds on the charge port where a little chared. so i broke out the soldering gun, sharpened it to a fine tip and dabbed some solder on the leeds.
slapped it all back together and all is good, WOOOO HOOOO!!!!!!!!
