Please feel free to critique my driving based on the info given.
May 25,2010 @ 8:14pm It was hot. Indianapolis Raceway Park
R/T .361
60' 2.298
330 6.259
1/8 9.502
MPH 75.82
1000 12.287
1/4 14.628
MPH 96.46

For reference this is a 6 speed manual. I assume engine specs aren't necessary since I am looking for advice on my driving and not the set up of the truck.
My assumption is that my 60' needs improvment.

Based on your 60' time, I would assume you spun a bit in 1st gear.
If you made the 1-2 shift before 2.29 seconds, then the time it took you to shift is included in your 60' time.

If that's true, then your 60' time really isn't that bad.

As Bryan suggested, try launching in 2nd gear.

To improve your reaction time, try launching on the 3rd yellow light.

REACTION TIME!!!!!! and 60'

reaction time has nothing to do with your 1/4 time.

Keep playing with your launch rpm and your clutch/throttle application. Eventually it's just gonna blow the tires off at some point. Figure that out and dial it back just a bit. I found that a shift light got me a bit more consistency. Once I went to slicks it was 2500rpm launches and basically a full out clutch dump. On street tires it was always a challenge to figure out how much the starting line was gonna hold. It was actually a lot more fun than racing on slicks.

Need a little more info than just a time slip. Were you spinning the tires, was it bogging?? Were you running slicks, or your street tires on the big rims??
