I dropped off all my parts including the 408 that I bought this morning to get it built. Going with Ross custom pistons for about a 8.5:1 Compression ratio, eagle H beams, and Skat crank or the Mopar stroker crank. Also going to do a short fill on the block to keep it safe with a girdle. Should put down upwards of 500 horse with 8psi. Doing it with 39 lbs injectors from a ford cobra which are actually rated only at 39 psi so they are a larger injector. I am doing a full return system to keep it safe along with a methanol kit to keep temps down in the intake side. Over all it will be done right the first time. Probably going to get the tranny built and go with an 3000 API stall converter. What did I forget? Should take about 2 months since the pistons take a while to get.

Sounds like a good plan, tuning with SCT? Keep us posted on the progress :)

Yikes. What's up with the block? Hope he cut you a deal. Yeah, I was pretty dysfunctional this morning until about 11 or so.

No it will take a while to build. He only has the engine and parts right now. I have the truck still. So when the engine is ready to go in I will drop off the truck. Should take a couple of months.
