I think I saw Ghandi standing by the tree :jester:
Sucks that the guy wrecks his car, but it's ok, there's still about 864 million camaros left :D

It looks like it hooks better than Firebird off the line. Later on down the track it looks like it would be about the same - judging by the crash.

That's Dallas Texas....Same thing anymore. :jester:
That would drive me nuts...Couple years ago, the track was really crowded on a Friday night, I was sitting in the staging lanes, I felt the truck move like it was bumped, looked in the mirror and saw this punk leaning on it talking to his friends...
I got out and told him to get the fuck of my truck...He did, but postured about doing so, but his friends backed ME up....LOL
But where we do our burn outs-stage etc...Clean as a whistle, no Obamas and or illegals around. :)

Really, we like to go together and don't like to be bugged, probably the main reason I tow the truck to the track.
I don't know how it is in your pits, but out here...We're all one big happy family choking on the lack of air.

Hell Yes! I made some of my first passes there.
If you'll notice, you're posting shit from 2006. It has changed hands and is a pretty nice place now. Even so, back then and now, it is a "no rules" drag strip. You can't get closer to the action than that. You can also bet on the races, but it takes a real Man to stand in that crowd, so I wouldn't expect you to understand.

theres some places in the Carolinas that are similar. My 1 and only rule is... NO BETTING.
Apparently "sportsman" like conduct is an unlearned behavior.
I was at a strip where a fat ego'd dude got took for a couple of grand on a race. He came back popping shotz. I got the fuck outta dodge.

See? That's what I'm talking about. You've never been there, yet you choose to take the low road and make racist remarks.
As far as PC and Lattes go, I'm a mod here and I could Nuke the whole thread in a second if I chose to. I would never do that though, because while I severely disagree with your remarks in general, I respect your right as an American to make them.
So to recap. Fuck you!

That is exactly what Yello Belly is. It's street racing brought to the track, which would ordinarily be respected by Adobedouche, but instead he can't get past the color of the people enjoying themselves.
Anyway, no "skin" off of me. lol.

Oh, don't get me wrong. The track is not the greatest and the place can be on the dangerous side, but that's what makes it fun and "real".
I made my first pass there in about 1979 or so and back then, they really didn't give a fuck.
I just take exception to the racial slurs and the generalizations about Dallas. I was born here and lived here all my life. I went to a HS that was totally mixed racially, so I don't see things the way you do. But, more power to ya if that's what makes you happy. Don't change on my account, but don't expect me not to comment either.

This event happened this month. The guy in the primerd out Model A roadster at 1:36-2:02 is in our Model A club. I met him for the first time last week. He said they had a BLAST at Yello Belly, but to be on the fair side, they did rent the track.

We had one black kid, and a bazillion Mexicans in HS. I had blond hair and blue eyes, I had a fight with some prick every day.
If you're gonna tag me as a racist because of the comments I make about blacks, where does that put everyone else with their comments about Mexicans.

Since you asked, prepare for my reply:
They are equally racist to me but you chose to jump into my World, so to speak, so I focused on you at the time. Nobody else has mad me angry enough to comment and even so, it's a losing battle to try and convince people to accept others as they are. People think they way they think and I'm not gonna be able to change that. I don't really want to either.
To me, we're all just people trying to make our way in Life.
And it's not a "tag", you are a racist and you should get comfortable with that. The China earthquake post is a fine example, as are your feelings towards pretty much any OTW (Other Than White). I just call em like I see em.
No hostility intended though, so don't get all bent up over it.

I think that is one of the first places I made on a track at back in late 80's early 90's. I will admit it looks chaotic on that video but it is not really that bad. Was a fun place to go. Take a grill with you make some burgers and if ya felt like running hope in your car and get in line. no classes no rules just run what ya brung.

I know you're gonna call me a sissy for this, but those small tracks just look like a fucking death trap to me...Maybe it's from my waking up in an ambulance one too many times during my Motocross days because of poorly run/designed tracks, no safety in place, no fencing...people wandering all over the place, no dust control....Worst injuries I ever sustained were from a drunk wandering on the track waving his hands...Caused a huge pile up, couldn't see it because of the dust, I was in the hospital for a week and on crutches for a month before they could finally cast my leg...in a cast fpr 6.
I don't need that shit anymore, and racing somewhere like that....That's just fucking stupid.

Alan,
Is that track in Arkansas still open ??
Maybe I'm mistaken, but it looks like the same track where someone was seriously injured a while back, when a car crashed through the fence. (not the video you posted).
Or maybe I'm thinkin of another hillbilly track?

George Ray died this last December, so I'm not sure if it's still open. It wouldn't surprise me if someone was killed there though.
