Well after months of hard work getting things machined and designing parts in solidworks the vortech kit is done.....I will be test fitting on Mike Smith's truck in the morning - barring any fubar's it will be available for sale as of this coming week....I have some pics of the kit all laid out and we will be taking plenty of pics tomorrow during the install....
I have laid out the kit with the head unit and without the head unit - without the head unit is how it will be sold but I can get them, infact I bought this one for Mike - it is a brand new V1 S trim with straight cut gears (whistler)....
Without further adieu....

I am going for just under 1000 for the mounting kit....
Really depends on the trim of blower you would want...

The supercharger bracket is .250 thick 410 stainless steel....

Like I told Pete - I am shooting for 999.95 for the complete mounting kit with no head unit.....and it depends on the head unit you want to run (there is a few options).
But the V1-S trim like shown is 1685 brand new in the box.....so basically 2685 for the complete tuner kit.....ready for SCT or whatever you want to tune with....

Nah I think it is safe to say I know what I am doing in the engineering department
And you could do a a 7075-T651 aluminum bracket in that thickness and have it be rigid enough but a 6061-T6 would prolly flex a bit.....stainless isnt going anywhere.....
Good lookin out though...

Thanks man - hopefully everything goes smooth and it bolts right on
But that is the reason for making a prototype and doing a test fit - all problems, if any, will be fixed with this install.....
I will try to shoot a video of the startup if we get that far :jester:

Well your kit looks pretty good.
I would suggest adding with it, the correct air hammer punch and tap for the oil pan. For those who might have trouble finding the correct ones.

Oddly, I like that car more than the truck. So if I needed to get rid of something, you could take a good guess at what would go :nono:

I will supply the info about the hole dimensions - but the tools other people can go buy, I dont see it as being an issue - the bottom line is if you cant find the tap, prolly should take it to a shop who can do it....
Just my opinion on that subject - again this kit isnt for everyone, but it will be a nice option for people I do believe....
