P1494 (M) Leak Detection Pump Sw or Mechanical Fault Incorrect input state detected for the leak detection pump (LDP) pressure switch.

why???

I recently did heads and cam. I have been through dozens of cycles with no code(except an 02 code I replaced and code never came back) I have had my Driver side valve cover off twice since.( you have to yam it way back against the firewall ) I reset the puter and held my hand around all vacuum ports. I followed the hoses from the ldp behind the motor and by the bell housing. I felt no leaks? I am running stock manifolds and a stock y.

MY mods are 218/224 cam, 2.02/1.65, .600 double springs, MP lifters, 1.7rr, M-1, 58 F&B, hardened PR's, NO A/C, B&G M-1 flash, Volant CAI, NX plate 150.

I had that SAME code a couple months ago. Turned out to just be more evap lines :jester:
The one that ran off my intake and met at the "y" connection close to the battery fell off. (fell off the y) One that went from the battery to behind the battery was also cracked pretty bad so i cut the end off and stuck it back on. Code went away.

As I was washing my truck/engine yesterday...noticed those lines cracking again :finger::jester:

more than likely it is just as Kevin mentions.
