Typical chain of events is to ask, then order.

FWIW I gave away the spintechs on both of my trucks and went to magnaflows. Exhaust is all personal preference.

all i know is if you dump spintechs before your rear axel its gonna be loud at high rpms. Im thinking about doing that with no cat or magna high flow cat. Tell us how it sounds.

Sean, how did the sound change when you made that switch? I've thought about it, but I'd hate to make the switch and hate the results. I can't say I'm unsatisfied with the Spintechs, which is why I haven't done it just yet. I know it's not exactly easy to describe exhaust sound...haha

I never ran spintech's but I think you would be happy with the magnaflows. I dunno if you remember how my truck sounded last year, but I love it...

i'm running 2- 3" magnaflows in a 14x9x4 case

The spintechs on both of mine were too loud for me. Sounded mean as hell, but the drone at ~2200rpm would actually make me drowsy while driving. Magnaflow at idle was noticably quieter and more mellow. Once you stood on it they would open up though. The idle got louder as they "burned in" with use.

I went from 2.5 Spintechs to straight through 3" x 18" Magnaflos dumped behind the axle.

Sounds a bazillion times better now...deep rumble at idle, but really opens up at WOT. And I bet it'll sound great when I spray it...:finger:

Actually it does sound different as soon as the juice kicks in. You thought that convertor flashed now. lol... Spray it out of the hole and I think you'll need new depends.

Not to highjack the OPs thread...But I will spray it out of the hole...Converter flashes to 4200 right now like a clock.

Well see how the relocated QA1 shocks, Monoleafs and Caltracs work. I'm saying they will.

I should it is nice already. However if you think it is not fits in your preference, you can choose another spintech. :jerkit:
