That is the same thing I'm doing to the R/T,I was gonna shave it but a buddy of mine use his mustng coupes fuel door for the same thing and I was like "sweet".

So your battery is right there behind that in the bed? Never thought of that...
I want to shave the fuel door though and put a cell where the spare used to be. My battery is in stock location but I'm not so crazy about it there.

yeah my battery is under the bed on the passanger side directly across from the fuel door. It will be on the inside of the frame rail mounted to the drive shaft loop. Any I already have a 21gal aliminum fuel tank where you want to put one

I have since removed the stock regulator and every part of the stock fuel system and gone full external fuel system with a true return

Put it in the bed, tons easier, & don't have to worry about the pump not getting any fuel.
What are you hauling?
