Last one,

Stroked SRT8 Charger. Eventually ran a 10.77 on juice.

Man now I want to go to the strip again!

Nice videos, Charger was sick. It doesn't sound like your stalling it up much at the line. So what rpm are you launching at?

Only launching at about 2000, But its still to much power to get down right. For some reason this thing has a lot of low end torque.

I was checking speed, never looked at the RPM, but I think it was shifting early in the lower gears, when I tried to shift manually I screwed it up.

I was gonna mention after watching your videos that it sounded like it was shifting early.

After seeing that Roadrunner squawk the tires on launch in front of you,, I'm thinking bad track conditions that day. Was the track hot?

Yea I think my biggest problem was the shifting. I just ordered the lm2 so I should be able to log everything better.

Im not trying to jack the thread, but since I was there I think its safe to answer this one.

In my opinion, The Track Was Definitley HOT. When I went in November the hook wasnt an issue for me, but Thursday it was. Track prep was good. It nearly pulled off my shoes when I checked it in the morning. As most of the cars were all running in the right lane, (I dont know why) the center of the groove got pretty beat up and worn out. I eventually ended up lining up left of center on the groove, and hooked really well my last few passes. I managed a 1.59 60 foot. The air was SH@# also.

Yea conditions could of been better but I think my biggest issue is the shifting and suspension. The motor definantly has the power to do 10s even in a day like this.

Well, that might explain the slower times.

The best I could muster after fixing the rich on WOT condition was an
11.25@119. That was with about 4 psi less than I normally run so I cant complain too much. I think the loss in boost was due to extremely high Intake air temperatures.

I dont want to speak for Dave, but it seemed his problems seemed to be a lack of traction combined with the tranny shifting way too early. However, I did notice that his MPH was down significantly from what he has run previously, (124) but I dont know if he was lifting or not. His truck was probably feeling the effects of the heat also.

Does anyone know if the PCM monitors IAT at WOT?
